After spending time this weekend sorting through mountains of stuff in our house, I realized I have four bins of Creative Miscellany stock. I decided I had to make a concerted effort to list more stuff on Etsy and Zibbet — I’ve done some of that tonight. I tried at the last minute to get a vendor table at the Selkirk Waterfront Festival but was too late. I’ve marked my calendar to remind myself next year.
Good news for Haiku Miscellany, too — the UVic Libraries purchased two copies and it is now listed on Amazon.com as well as Lulu.com. (Sidebar: if you buy it from Lulu, I actually make a little bit more cash.) I’m still trying to decide whether to order a handful of copies to have on hand to sell — but I would need to order at least two dozen in order to offer them for the same price and not lose money. What do you think? Anyone out there had any luck selling this sort of book locally (craft fairs? consignment? street corner huckstering?) ?
