It’s October… Halloween month… and I am clueless as to what costume I should wear. Suggestions welcome but bear in mind, if it contains the word “sexy” it’s not going to be high on my list; higher would be comfy. I once went to work in pajamas for Halloween just cause it was comfy. I have to have a costume this year because we are hosting a party — family-friendly with Kiddo running the kidzone in the basement. She is stoked. Or, rather, STOKED!!!! The basement is currently an explosion of epic crafting.
Halloween has, I think, fully eclipsed Christmas in its sheer volume of commercially available crap and possibly even in the mountain of handcrafted craziness too. I know this because I can’t scroll past two links in Google Reader without at least one of them being Halloween related. I love this LEGO Indiana Jones costume, and this holy-crap-that’s-a-lot-of-work knit skeleton, and these simple yet creepy Jell-o™ worms.
As of today, the weather has finally turned to fall; the day started with fog and never managed to warm up. Absolutely perfect:
