Hobbit-Inspired Playhouse progress

Most of the work on the Hobbit-inspired playhouse has been done by Mike — I’ve helped here and there but for the most part, it’s been his labour of love for Kiddo. She did however, do most of the laminate floor herself. Tonight, I agreed to help with stucco. I’ll say this now: I don’t enjoy stuccoing. We suspect that somewhere, there is a master plasterer openly weeping due to the disturbance we caused in the stucco continuum. Never mind, it’s mostly complete. Now Mike will patch what he can and then hang the door — then it’ll be at least a little secure.

For your amusement, here’s a sort of time-lapse of the progress (starting June 4th when the walls were put up, though Mike built them before then) ….
