Ticking Tasks off the Big List

To Do'sAs usual, my 4 day weekend meant it felt like less than usual was accomplished because there was a fair bit of slacking involved. When I write it all down, though, lots got done. And, since I did a poor job of prioritizing, I’ll call it a productive weekend.
Here’s what I intended to do:

  • head up to Nanaimo with the family
  • get some seeds planted
  • do laundry
  • reorganize kitchen cupboards to fit new dishes
  • reorganize bedroom cupboard — put away winter sweaters, etc.
  • finish two to three articles-in-progress
  • record, edit and post Those DeWolfes podcast episode
  • record, edit and post two Grid Memories podcast episodes
  • promote Pin It to Profit
  • mend summer quilt for bed & change over linens
  • blog something
  • spend some time crafting/painting/creating
  • read (books!)

Here’s what I did:

  • went to Nanaimo with the family (bonus: explored a new-to-us park, Buttertubs Marsh)
  • got some seeds planted (carrots, peas, bush beans)
  • did laundry
  • reorganized kitchen cupboards to fit new dishes
  • reorganized spice cupboard
  • recorded two Those DeWolfes podcast episodes
  • edited, built the shownotes for, and uploaded one Those DeWolfe podcast episode
  • promoted Pin It to Profit (a little… less than I should have)
  • spent more time than I should have on Pinterest
  • watched a rom-com with Kiddo (While You Were Sleeping; she approved)
  • mended summer quilt for bed & changed over linens*
  • blogged this and one other post
  • read (articles & short non-fiction, and part of a memoir)
  • researched and tested two new recipes
  • joined Quora (follow me there if you want)
  • wrote a quick overview on watermarking images

*I should note that the sheets get changed regularly but the quilt/duvet weights and number of blankets vary from season to season. The mending was the big part of this task.
