This morning, Mike and I headed out to do our best to finish Christmas Shopping 2012. Our travels took us out to Langford where we discovered that several of our dining options were closed at 3:00 (between lunch and dinner) so we ended up at…. Burger King. Oh well… at least we mostly finished shopping, just a couple of gift cards and stocking stuffers to pick up.
At home, I tried to find something downstairs and was immediately frustrated. My sewing table had been largely inaccessible since last Christmas, along with my knitting gear, my stash, and my sewing stuff. When we had the bathroom work done, things were made worse as even more crap was piled up against the table. So… I set to it. After about half an hour I thought, “I should take a before photo…”
Then about two and a half hours of sorting later, I was content with the results:
So now I can deal with the growing stack of “mending” and maybe make a few gifts, too.
