Max aka Maximum
1999-2014
After three days of around the clock care and what seemed to be a steady improvement, Max crashed again today. We let him go because any further intervention at this point would be cruel. I’m extremely thankful for the kindness and care that the Central Victoria Vet Hospital was able to provide.
I’ll miss his daily demands and his head-butts but I know there was no turning him around to give him any kind of quality of life; I’m happy he was in our life for almost 14 years; perhaps now he can find some sort of cat-filled dog-park to romp in with his kin.

I’m so sorry to hear of Max passing. The loss of a beloved pet leaves a kitty shaped hole in the heart. We lost our fellow last year on December 22, and I still miss his prrts and head bonks. He was 18. My thoughts are with you, Mike and Alice.
Thank you Sue.
Peace to you and your family. It’s always tough losing a loved one. I know that he had a wonderful home with you guys and I am sure he is forever grateful for all the love you gave to him.
Thank you, Melanie.
So Sorry for your loss. Yes you did the right thing and he’ll always be with you guys remember that. Hugs to you and the family.
Thanks Jenna.
We just read the news. Our condolences. We know that despite the ‘correctness’ of the decision, it wasn’t at all easy to do so, as it was for our Yoda 2 months ago.
I’m going to miss the Goofball.

Thanks.
