Sesame Street debuted the year I was born. I loved Snuffleuppagus so much that one year that doll was the only thing I wanted for Christmas and when I didn’t get it right away, I cried until my family dug under the tree to find the right box. Now, for some reason, Sesame Street has renewed street cred — this video has been making the rounds of the net this week:

Which reminds me of a techno remix of the Sesame Street song from the 90s. Yeah, I had a copy. It was by “Smart E” (Google confirms this) … and someone made a video of sorts so you can hear it. It’s cheezy as all hell, but so was most techno of that era:
