Last night, I worked hard — I put in 5 hours of solid work prepping, leading and managing the DIY craft table (which I immediately renamed the Free-Form, Free-for-all Craft Exploration table) at Iconocraft (more about the event in a later post) with a 10 minute break. I rarely work that hard at my day job! But you know what? I barely noticed the time go by until the last half hour. I had fun — I was in the cross-hairs of my skill sets: I was creating and teaching; helping others find that aHa! moment.
Similarly, today I co-presented a slide-show about my work unit (who we are, what we do, etc.) that was open to all library staff. My supervisor and I worked together to build the presentation and to deliver it but again I was creating and leading — and the time flew! This afternoon it’s been a parade of thank-yous and congrats past our desks.
At the risk of getting all airy-fairy, I really feel like things are lining up and there are some pretty big arrows directing me on my path.
Wow!! That’s Fan-FREAKING-tastic Cheryl! I’m so excited for you! Sounds like the Universe is hearing your visions and providing opportunities that are right in synch with your purpose! Yay!!
