Craft Fair Season

It’s actually been craft fair season for about a month already — the early fairs start on the heels of Halloween, and peak in late November. Wearing my Creative Miscellany hat, I do a couple of craft fairs a year, typically, including the one at work which is limited to staff.

Having done my fair share of craft fairs as a vendor now, I am used to the drill. I have a checklist to follow (so I remember a cash float and  and keep my “must haves” in one place (extra labels, basic tools, safety pins, that sort of thing) then gather everything else depending on which of my miscellany is the focus of the sale.

Tomorrow I will be at a craft fair at Central Middle School — my first time for that location and I am hoping there will be plenty of new-to-me buyers! I set up my table this evening — a little early, but it is set up!

Tuesday’s sale at work will be a piece of cake in comparison — the tough part will be getting to campus early enough to set up. And even though this is mostly a personal “about me” post, it’s also festive so I am counting it for festive flotsam.
